Chicago Electro Acoustic Music Festival

The first night of the Biennial Chicago Electro Acoustic Music Festival begins with a concert of brand new compositions from the students of the CCPA Composition Program. These pieces were all conceived this semester for a solo instrument and electronics, both with fixed media and live processing. The 2nd night the following Friday (4/7) will feature the winner of the student composition contest, Sean Ellis Hussey, and his piece "The Fertility of Ash," as well as works by guest artist Elainie Lillios and the Chicago Composers Consortium. This is a free event.
